Bluegem internal promotions including Mathieu Develay to Partner

Bluegem, the specialist consumer-focused private equity firm, announces several internal promotions following the close of its third fund, to capture the private equity investment opportunities across Western Europe as Bluegem continues investing its new fund, Bluegem III.

Mathieu Develay becomes Partner, Louise Stolt-Nielsen Holten is promoted to Investment Manager and Eleonore Beca to Senior Associate. Bluegem has also been enhancing its team of functional experts with the engagement of Apostolos Mourouzis as Head of Artificial Intelligence.

Mathieu Develay joined Bluegem in 2015, from Bain Capital’s investment team in London. Prior to Bain Capital, Mathieu also worked for several years at the Boston Consulting Group as a strategy consultant.  Since joining Bluegem, Mathieu has led the company’s operations in France and Benelux. He holds an MSc in Business from HEC Paris.

Eleonore Beca and Louise Stolt-Nielsen Holten joined Bluegem in 2020 from Lazard and Goldman Sachs respectively.  They have contributed to deal sourcing and execution across France, Benelux and the Nordics.

Apostolos Mourouzis was previously at McKinsey and is now working across all Bluegem portfolio companies to enhance operations using Artificial Intelligence.
