QMS: Strong momentum for our collagen focused, results drive G-beauty skincare brand

14TH JULY 2021

Although many of our spa partners in Germany and around the globe sadly had to remain shut for much longer than initially expected, QMS felt the impact of the pandemic much less than expected. QMS is native to the professional spa channel, but unlike most other brands, over 80% of our sales are generated with retail products sold via our beauticians, often after a receiving a facial. During the pandemic, customers managed to get their hands on their routine skincare products even without their usual treatment (e.g. via click and collect) and we are thankful for their continued loyalty.

During the past year, our team has worked on various exciting growth & development initiatives which can be categorised into four core pillars:

(1) Digital transformation – Our renewed focus on digital with an all new website focused on education / training and sales (to be launched in August 2021) and accompanied by the launch of QMS products on selected exclusive and prestige online beauty retailers

(2) Increasing penetration of the German market – QMS has launched its products in famous high-end retail accounts such as Oberpollinger München, Alsterhaus Hamburg and KaDeWe Berlin, where customers can enjoy one of our signature facial treatments. We have also added numerous new beauticians to our spa network across Germany

(3) International traction – We have taken over the direct management of the Benelux and Swiss markets from the previous distributors and have further added new international distributors in Russia, Ireland, Poland and Lithuania. We also launched into the United States earlier this year and have already secured partnerships with the Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons chains. Other notable new accounts include Harrods in London, a new flagship spa at a hotel in Sotogrande, Spain and JD Global and Tmall Global in China.

(4) New Product development – QMS is committed to innovation with a full pipeline of new cutting-edge products and is simultaneously working on a rebranding, repackaging and reformulation project to further elevate the brand profile and improve its sustainability claims. QMS is committed to a green agenda by the end of 2023.

Last but not least – QMS is once again nominated as the world’s best spa brand, an award it has won already three times in the past years.

We are enthusiastic about what future holds for QMS.
