Enrique has more than 30 years of professional experience, primarily in the consumer industry and also advising, in different roles, PE Funds. He also has extensive experience in transformation and build-up projects.

He is Executive Chairman of LATERAL and FoodBox and senior advisor to several other companies. Previously, he was CEO of the VIPS Group for 11 years where he led the deep transformation and growth project, concluding with the successful sale of the group to the ALSEA in 2019. Previously, he worked at Grupo PRISA for nine years as General Manager of Regional Press, Global Corporate Director of Planning and Strategy and General Manager of the Printing Division. He began his professional career at Arthur Andersen where he worked for 10 years specializing in Strategic Consulting and Corporate Finance in the utilities and infrastructure sector.

Enrique holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Valladolid and a postgraduate degree in business management (PDD and PADE) from IESE.  He is also a part-time lecturer professor at the Garrigues Studies Centre of the European University.
